Miri is a self-taught artist from Slovakia, now based in Manchester. She has been passionate about art since childhood and in recent years has focused on developing her fine art practice. Her work centres on realistic portraiture with occasional abstract elements, exploring emotion and capturing the inner presence of her subjects. Each painting encourages viewers to pause and look deeper — not only at the subject, but at themselves. In doing so, it can spark self-awareness, empathy, and a renewed appreciation for emotional depth. Miri currently has her paintings on display at ASAP Coffee Shop in Manchester, sharing her work with the local community.
